The Cobourg Cougars have announced another signing for the 2023-24 season. Forward Jack Lowry from Trenton will be joining the team this upcoming season. Jack played the 2022-23 season in the GOJHL starting off with the Hamilton Kilty B’s and then moving to the Pelham Panther’s. He secured 10 points across 40 games before joining the Cougars as an AP during the playoffs.
“Lowry is a versatile forward who can be used in all situations for us if required” said Adam Holzmann Assistant GM and Director of Scouting for the Cougars. “He plays a good paced, skilled game but also tracks back responsibly to defend in his zone. He could end up being a bit of a ‘Swiss-army knife’ for the team. He’s an involved player who also has edge to his game which fits in nicely to the Cougars sense of play.”
“I am excited to sign with Cobourg for this upcoming season. It is a great group of guys, team, and community. I am really looking forward to the year and continuing to progress in the OJ” said Lowry.
Welcome to Cobourg Jack!
