The Cougars are pleased to announce the signing of 2005 Defensemen Chris Brydges to their roster. Brydges, who is a local from Cobourg and no stranger to the Cougars has been an AP for the last two seasons. Chris played for the Ayr Centennials GOJHL and the Port Hope Panthers PJCHL last year and finished as an AP for the Cougars during playoffs.
“Chris brings comfort in our back end that allows us the safety of puck control and puck advancement out of our zone.” said Adam Holzmann, General Manager for the Cougars. “He is a high end D that gives us depth for years to come”.
“I am super excited to be a part of Cobourg this year and can’t wait to get the season started. It’s very special to have the opportunity to play for my hometown, and to have the support of my friends and family to cheer us on” said Brydges of playing for the Cougars full time this season.
Chris will be wearing #5 this season for the Cougars.
