The Cougars are happy to announce the signing of Owen McKinnon a 2004 defense from Whitby, Ontario. McKinnon played for the London Nationals of the GOJHL last season.
“Owen brings grit and force to the D core we currently have. His ability to play up the D line allows Cobourg to adjust verses different structured competition. Owen brings many tools that will help us be successful.” said Adam Holzmann, General Manager of the Cougars.
“I’m very exited to be playing in Cobourg this year and playing out of one of the nicest rinks in the league. I am most importantly looking forward to meeting and seeing all the people who come out and support the Cougars.” said McKinnon on joining.
Owen will wear #27 this season.
