The Cobourg Cougars are thrilled to announce that Cobourg local Logan Kelly will join the team for the upcoming season. Kelly is no stranger to the Cougars being a past AP during the 2021-2022 season and being a part of the team that won the East Division Championship that season. Kelly spent last season playing in the GOJHL for the Ayr Centennials earning 49 pts in 50 games.
“We are excited to have Logan back in Cobourg and be a part of our team. Being a local guy and in his last year of junior hockey it’s really a win/win for all of us having him here. Logan is a mature player and Leader and is great both on the ice and off.” Said Peter Drikos Head Coach and GM of the Cougars “he brings excellent vision, play making ability and an elite shot, and we are excited to see what he does this year on his home rink”
“I am thrilled to be back in Cobourg and playing for the Cougars this upcoming season. We have an awesome group of returning guys and new players. I had a great year away last year playing in the Ayr, but nothing beats being home in Cobourg and being a Cougar and playing for the team that I grew up watching as a kid” said Kelly about joining the team.
Cobourg could not be happier to have Kelly back at home and wearing the Cougars green!
